A Safari and Training company is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the team.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager.
A leading Safari guide and wildlife training organisation is looking for a Marketer who loves all things marketing and digital marketing. The candidate must be familiar with a wide range of both marketing and digital marketing practices.
The successful applicant will directly support the Marketing Manager and will work in collaboration with its wider marketing partners to deliver intelligent digital campaigns, blogs, advertising and strategies to mention a few.
In addition, the successful candidate will spend time at remote unfenced wilderness camps located across South Africa and Botswana, building relationships with students and staff and gathering research that can be used for marketing.

Develop, maintain and execute a content calendar for all social media platforms and community management (i.e. LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc…).
Develop and maintain the blog calendar including writing and sourcing content for the weekly blog
Manage and conceptualise content for email marketing campaigns.
Generate website traffic through various campaigns.
Design for all marketing advertising activities (i.e. Magazine Adverts, Banners, Display Advertising, Newsletter and Social Media Graphics, Display Advertising graphics).
Develop marketing strategies together with the Marketing Manager that are in line with the company’s strategic direction.
Increase lead generation through
various marketing activities as set out in the Marketing plan.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop monthly and annual strategies and tactics.
Prepare monthly marketing reports and analysis.
Manage marketing administrative duties.
Coordinate in collaboration with the Marketing Manager all activities pertaining to trade shows and school road shows.
Design and develop E-learning courses in collaboration with the training manager and handle all administrative tasks that form part of each E-learning course.
Be able to work under pressure.
Proper time management is a must.
Attention to detail is very important
Technical competencies and requirements for position:
Excellent graphic design skills with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Marketing related Degree or Diploma or similar would be an advantage
Digital Marketing qualification or sufficient experience in the successful management of multiple digital channels and community management.
Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent command of the English language and copywriting ability.
Min 1 - 2 years’ experience in a marketing role or similar.
It is vital to have experience in the tourism field as a field guide and have in depth knowledge of nature as well as the FGASA syllabus.
Knowledge and understanding of film production is an advantage.
Available to attend trade shows.
Available to visit camps located across South Africa and Botswana.
You must Live in or prepared to relocate to Nelspruit.
A passion for wildlife and conservation.
