What started as a simple trading business entity in 2005, Horra Trading has made it possible to create diversified businesses under Horra Corporate Group. Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, manufacturing, real estate development and transit and forwarding.

Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 450 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

Job purpose

A Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing a company's interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms' content strategies. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build community online.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies;

Manage and oversee social media content;

Measure the success of every social media campaign;

Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies;

Use social media marketing tools;

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams;

Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization;

Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network;

Formulating high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign;

Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence;

Monitoring the company's brand on social media;

Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers;

Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement;

Responding to comments on each of the organization's social media accounts;

Overseeing customer service provided via social media;

Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives;

Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices;

Research on the current technological trends and preferences of the Audience;

Ensuring brand consistency and aesthetics;

Communicate with the audience, respond to queries, and monitor reviews to increase brand awareness.

Job Requirements

BA degree in Marketing Management or relevant field;

Six years of experience in Content Management;

Good understanding of Google Analytics and SEO;

Knowledge of Web Design;

Familiarity with graphic design;

Creativity in content creation and up-to-date with current trends;

Familiarity with web design and publishing;

Excellent multitasking skills;

Great leadership skills;

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;

Good time-management skills;

Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
