3. Hope Media Marketing Manager Jobs in Kenya

The Position reports to the Head of Media and is responsible for developing and driving media
strategy, execution of consumer brand marketing, advertising and sales for Hope Media.

We expect this person to be an articulate champion of those strategies, one who can develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to lead the evolution of the brands with
measurable shifts in growth and expansion.

Pushing boundaries, presenting new initiatives and
constantly ensuring all proposals are aligned with the overarching brand strategy and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Developing media and brand strategies.

Execution of consumer brand marketing and advertising

Working closely with the Hope FM and Hope TV teams, in appreciating organizations Vision, Mission and objectives and effectively communicating to the market the benefits they receive from their products

Developing new business, maintain strong relationships and growing existing business.

Develop and achieve the advertising, sponsoring and production income targets of the stations

Solicit the purchase of airtime, program sponsorship and in-house produced advertisements.

Operate the booking system and prepare traffic schedule for integration with program scheduling

Recruit, train and manage sales executives.

Provide the Finance Office with requisite information to facilitate invoicing and proper records of sales

Maintain high ethical standards of behaviour in marketing

Minimum Qualifications
A born again Christian who should have the following:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising or Media

Masters Degree is a definite advantage

Computer skills relevant for developing program proposals, and presentations

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

The position requires a team player, ability to work long and odd hours. It requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and one who shares our mission and passion for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

Reporting to Marketing Manager for direct and agency, the ideal candidates will have the overall responsibility of initiating and executing sales while promoting and developing effective advertising solutions to clients. A retainer will be provided to the successful candidates.

Key responsibilities

Selling advertising for Radio

Generating ideas for new sales and expanding the market opportunities

Establishing contacts with and developing long term relationships with new clients

Maintaining positive and productive relationships with existing clients

Preparation of and adherence to individual sales plans in alignment with the organization’s goals and business objectives

Meeting targets and KPIs

Contributing to the team and functioning within the organization’s corporate culture and values

Minimum Qualifications
A born again Christian who should have the following:

University Degree with at least 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing from media or FMCGs

Excellent prospecting skills with an

orientation for results

New business to business sales experience preferred with recognition as top-performer

Ability to work independently, within a team and under pressure

Excellent client service and interpersonal skills

Superior communication and presentation skills

Strong understanding of lead generation

Ability to cultivate long standing client relationships
