Role of the Job
To deputise the Managing Director and provide overall strategic leadership and oversight for the administrative functions of HOFOKAM.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages development of HOFOKAM's administrative plans and budgets proposals for consideration and approval by the Board.
• Manages the day to day administrative operations and recommends appropriate policv positions. regulations and strategies to the Board.
• Oversees implementation of approved administrative policies and manuals. board resolutions. regulations and operating procedures and strategies.
• Monitors, evaluates and advises the Managing Director on the status of administration in HOFOKAM and recommends appropriate action to address existing challenges.
• Oversees the management and utilization of the company's human, fiscal and physical resources for its efficient and effective operation.
• Represents HOFOKAM at various fora including marketing its brand image and products as delegated by the Managing Director.
• Provides oversight over human and fiscal discipline in HOFOKAM Operations.
• Manages the maintenance of quality standards in HOFOKAM operations.
• Manages a team of Senior HOFOKAM Managers for the realization of desired administrative support to the business departments.

• Effective and efficient Administrive support to HOFOKAM operations.
• Effective application of administrative policies. board directives, regulations and operating procedures and strategies.
• Effective management and utilization of HOFOKAM human, fiscal and physical resources.
• Strong and mutually beneficial networks with a broader constituency of Government. NGO's. Development Partners and clientele.
• Productive. motivated and disciplined workforce.
• Quality standards in service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
• Honor’s Bachelor Degree in Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law, Arts or Sciences.
OR
• Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance like ACCA. CPA or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Master’s degree in a management or banking related discipline.
OR
• For those with an Honors degree in law (LLB), a post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and should be a registered advocate of the High Court.
Experience
Over six (6) years ‘experience in banking. one (1) of which should have been at a strategic management level.
Competences
• Leadership.
• Ability to work under pressure, team oriented, high integrity. assertiveness. ability to lead and motivate a professional team. and to lead and manage change, good customer relations both internally and externally.
• Strategic thinking. management and should be goal oriented.
• Should be computer literate and have extensive communication and negotiation skills.
• Management proficiency. coordination. decision making coaching. planning and Strategy development skills.
• Self-motivated and innovative
Age
35 — 50 years of age.
