Job Description

Our client based in Pretoria is looking for a Pavement Engineer

Responsibilities

To monitor and oversee the status of construction projects, through the involvement of creating budgets, reviewing safety issues, and managing construction progress and teams of technical & supervisory staff.

Manage Project Contracts.

Manage Contract programme and allocated budget.

Assist site staff with technical knowledge.

Tender evaluation and recommendation.

Client liaison and requests.

Construction supervision.

Responsible for quality control related to all work being executed.

Requirements

Professionally Registered with ECSA

A minimum of 10 years of experience

Experience with SANRAL (Provincial Roads and National Roads)

Contractual knowledge of the GCC and FIDIC forms of Contract

Understanding of Construction Industry
SANRAL & Service Provider Contracts knowledge

Technically competent with an understanding of the built environment
