Job DescriptionConduct simple tests, analyzed result, evaluate and check the correctness of the laboratory test result and prepare test report for issuance of laboratory results.
Participate in test method validation according to ISO/IEC 17025.
Participate on the effectiveness and evaluation of test methods that the laboratory applied for accreditation.
Identify test methods, and propose required amount of samples and required types of inputs for conducting the test.
Participate on preparation of laboratory quality documents.
Participate in inter laboratory and proficiency testing programs.
Standardized chemical reagents or prepare growth media for testing purpose.
Based on the developed procedures conduct cleaning and preventive action for equipment that found in the lab or assigned to him/her.
Participate in evaluation and approval of (supplies, materials, consumables, and equipment) laboratory inputs after procurement.
Prepare and submit performance report and challenges that he faced during performing test to the laboratory manager.
Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in SOPs and test methods
Participate and contribute in new method development and risk assessment activities.

Handles samples and perform analyses according to SOPs and test methods.
Follow and ensure to compliance with the companies code of conduct.
Ensure prompt testing of samples.
Ensure safe custody of samples prior to, during and after testing. Retention period
of testing samples to be ensured as per current procedures. Also the safety of test and measuring instruments to be ensured subject to the provision of availability of infrastructure.
Conduct testing as per relevant specification and job card and calculate uncertainty for reporting in test report, wherever applicable.
Prepare test report: sign all pages of office copy and put up to laboratory manager along with test record register.
Ensure safe custody of calibrated equipment.
Assist TS in preparation of draft time estimate for fixation of testing charges in their area of activity.
Maintain equipment being used by them for testing in proper condition. In case of breakdown take initiative, coordinate and assist laboratory manager for its early repair.
Ensure that the equipment, apparatus and machines used for testing are properly cleaned and covered wherever required.
Ensure timely disposal of tested/ calibrated samples as per procedure.
Perform any other activities as directed to him.
