Purpose of the Job:To maximize productivity of the company through the right use of computer applications and system implementations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze the structure and flow of the business’ work to identify possible application solutions.
Analyze the impact of applying data systems to the areas of concern and from there, provide recommendations on whether to upgrade to a different or same system or not.
Manage local area networks, desktop applications and computer security.
Install and maintain routers, generates email addresses, creates and resets passwords and creates backups.
provide technical support and problem resolution related to business application software systems.
Ensure that the servers are all ready before implementing new systems, and then carefully monitor the rolling-out process to catch any snags.
Train staff on proper use of systems and conducts orientation seminars for these.
Create, execute and maintain databases for the company.
Create and design the company’s website, make it user-friendly and maintain it.
Create manuals and publish guidelines for proper use of the systems.
Generic Duties of the Position:
Develop and implement the Division’s plans and objectives.
Develop, approve and monitor the Division’s budgets.
Identify human resources requirements of
the Division and develop plan for meeting the requirements.
Develop, implement and review relevant divisional policies and procedures.
Review, approve and submit Divisional reports to relevant organs.
Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.
Manage disciplinary concerns of the Division’s staff.
Represent the Division in internal and external relationships.

Participate in group decision making process by forming part of different groups/committees.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
Education:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields
Senior Manager
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields
Experience
Manager
Six (6) years and eight(8) years of relevant experience for Masters and Bachelor Of which (3) and (4) years of experience in supervisory positions
Senior Manager
Eight(8) years for Masters and ten(10) years for Bachelor of relevant experience Of which (4) and (5) years of experience in supervisory positions
Professional Qualification
IFB Certification is Advantageous
