Responsibilities

Monitoring Develop an integrated monitoring and evaluation system for new and ongoing programs to track their implementation
Monitoring Develop an integrated monitoring and evaluation system for new and ongoing programs to track their implementation
Training To build the capacity of both staff and partners in monitoring and evaluation of programmes to ensure that systematic and effective monitoring occurs
Reporting and Documentation Provide feedback to management on projects’ performance based on monitoring data findings
Representation Representing HIAS in various external meetings as advised

Skills and Experience Required

2 years’ experience in extensive monitoring and evaluation of projects related to social sciences, humanitarian and human rights or development work

Experience in developing data collection tools and training of staff in effective use of those tools.

Experience in proposal development and project implementation

Experience in working for a NGO that deals with refugees will be an added advantage

Ability to work well in a team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated skills in data collection, data analysis, documentation, data interpretation, and reporting

Extensive knowledge in computer applications

Knowledge in computer based data analysis applications and/or computer based project management applications

Impressive analytical and writing skills
