Qualification Details

  • School Certificate Secondary UCE

  • School Certificate Secondary UACE

  • Diploma in Mental Health from a recognized Institution.

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Should have good communication, interpersonal and team building skills

  • Demonstrable qualities of leadership and integrity.

  • Should have good communication, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Manage and account for allocated resources.

  • Participate in clinical work and ensure proper management of patients.

  • Refer complicated cases to Senior Psychiatric Clinical Officer

  • Participate in sensitizing communities on mental health.

  • Participate in Primary Health Care activities.

  • Participate in research activities.

  • Adhere to the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
