Qualification

  • Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Good communication, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Participate in designing, fabricating and fitting Orthopaedic appliances for patients.

  • Refer complicated cases to the Senior Orthopaedic Technician.

  • Carry out Health Education on maintenance of fabricated prosthetic appliances.

  • Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.

  • Promote adherence to the Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.

  • Participate in research activities.

  • Manage and account for allocated resources.

  • Compile and submit periodic reports to the Senior Orthopaedic Technician.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
