Qualification

  • Diploma in Occupational Therapy

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Good communication, counseling, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Counsel persons with disability.

  • Requisition for equipment and other supplies.

  • Ensure that equipment is secure, functional and well maintained.

  • Impart knowledge and skills to staff and students.

  • Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him/her.

  • Manage and account for allocated resources.

  • Compile and submit periodic reports.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Facilitate and train persons with disabilities in special occupation activities

  • Participate in outreach services.

  • Train and supervise Occupational Therapy Helpers in rehabilitative skills.

  • Participate in research activities.
