Qualification

  • Certificate in Enrolled Nursing

  • Certificate in Enrolled Comprehensive Nursing.

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Good communication, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Participate in research activities.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

  • Carry out phlebotomy.

  • Provide nursing care services to blood donors

  • Ensure safety of blood donors and a healthy environment

  • Package blood and ensure proper cold chain

  • Monitor blood donors and keep proper records

  • Carry out health education among blood donors

  • Clean blood collection equipment, maintain it and ensure proper storage

  • Manage and account for allocated resources

  • Adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics
