Qualification

  • Diploma in Pharmacy

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Communication, counseling, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Compound drugs and give out medicines to patients.

  • Prepare sterile and pathogens free infusions.

  • Advise patients and attendants in the proper use and storage of medicines.

  • Carry out regular equipment servicing and ensure that they are functional.

  • Participate in training of students and other health workers.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Identify and classify drugs, keep stock and adhere to the professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.

  • Compile and submit reports on the use of drugs.
