Health Service Commission Blood Donor Recruiter Jobs in Uganda



Qualification Details

  • School Certificate Secondary UCE

  • School Certificate Secondary UACE

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Social Work and Social Administration or Development Studies or Social Sciences from a recognized University/ Institution. Experience in blood donor Recruitment will be added advantage.

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Good communication, analytical, advocacy skills and interpersonal skills

  • Should be a person of high integrity, with excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.

    Any Other Requirements:

  • Communication, team building, interpersonal, leadership and social mobilization skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Keep up to date donor register

  • Organise session schedules

  • Implement the national policy on blood transfusion

  • Counselling and guidance

  • Give health educational talks before blood collection

  • Coordinate with community mobilisers during camp organisations

  • Ensure that teams are well facilitated in terms of logistics

  • Arrange for donor clubs, health educational and visits to headquarters

  • Prepare teams’ weekly and monthly reports

  • Supervise all Blood Donor Recruiter’s activities

  • Maintain Blood Donor Data Bank

  • Where necessary assist with donor care

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
