Qualification

  • MBChB

    Experience

  • At least nine (9) years’ relevant experience, three (3) of which should be at the level of Principal Medical Officer.

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Should have strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills, high integrity and a community service ethic.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Develop policy, standards and guidelines for HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

  • Develop and monitor plans for implementation of HIV /AIDS prevention and control programmes.

  • Provide technical support related to HIV/AIDS to Referral Hospitals and Districts.

  • Monitor utilization of resources for HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

  • Prepare and submit periodic performance reports on HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

  • Supervise, coach, and appraise the performance of staff.
