Heal Africa Health City S.C an emerging conglomerate business firm established by highly honored professionals from various fields, mainly medical and health specialists and sub-specialists who have excessive experience in the field of medical services. Heal Africa Health City is looking for a dedicated bunch of expert to ensure the efficient transition of our newly acquired healthcare facility.

Job brief

A Quality Assurance person is a professional who is responsible for supporting the academic Team (staff, students & researchers), and be an active participant, in the strengthening and development of the College’s academic standards and its assurance and enhancement of policies and procedures.

The Quality Assurance office holder is responsible for supporting the realization of the College’s academic vision through the development, operation and review of the College’s quality assurance and enhancement processes.

Duties and responsibilities

• Review and edit curricular materials including competency statements, learning objectives, and other relevant documentation. Support the academic team in maintaining control of program and course documentation;

• Coordinating College program approval process, in line with Educational and training Authority(ETA) of Ethiopia Program;

• Advise the College Management Team on issues relating to the national regulation and assessment of teaching quality, student progression and graduate destinations;

• Lead on any internal and external reviews of academic quality and standards;

• Support the college in the periodic academic quality and standards review and monitoring processes in line with ETA Monitoring and Reporting standards.

• Responsible for maintaining program documentation and uploading onto the College website.

Support the Community based education (CBE) and clinical coordinator Team with the quality assurance of degree Apprenticeship program and short courses.

• Supporting the College’s governance structure, managing the governance calendar and record keeping.

• Review and development of the College’s academic policies and procedures by keeping abreast of higher education initiatives and developments, including changes to the regulatory framework for higher education, ETA.

• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with staff and students ;

• Provide administrative support to the Academic Services during peak periods;

  • Act as secretary to Academic Standards Committee.

  • Support the approval processes for new academic developments;

    Job Requirements

  • MSc degree and above in curriculum and related field

  • Teaching experience required

  • Evidence of courses or training in learning theory and instructional design

  • Experience in higher education instructional design support preferred

  • Thorough understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and test development.
