General Responsibilities of the Position

Contribute to the definition of programmatic strategy

Coordinating and leading on project proposal development

Leading on external reporting including effective monitoring and support for donor compliance

Networking and representation of HI as relevant

Overseeing the progress, relevance and quality of programmes implemented through ensuring and implementing effective monitoring and quality assurance frameworks with a strong focus on LRRD

Team Management

Profile

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior NGO programme position preferably within both emergency and development set up

Experience with HI is a strong asset

Advanced planning, assessment, analytical, leadership and management skills

Skills and experience in funding proposal development

Experience in dealing with donors

Strong working knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Excellent networking capacities

Good communication capacities

Knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications
