Job Summary

A kindergarten assistant teacher, to work under the supervision of a lead teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The assistant teacher assists with the implementation of the daily curriculum, classroom management, and the supervision of students.

Responsibilities

Assisting in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of young children.

Helping with the setup of the classroom, preparing materials, and maintaining an organized and clean learning environment

Providing individualized attention and support to students as they engage in learning activities and collaborate

with peers

Assist with the assessment of students’ progress and providing feedback to the lead teacher to determine areas of strength and where additional attention may be needed

Communicate regularly with parents and families on student progress and maximining positive relationship with them

Job Requirements

Required educational background and experience

Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in KG education or related filed

Two years experience in working with young children

Familiar with current educational technology and tools.

Ability to work with collaboratively with others

Patience, positivity, and strong interpersonal skills.

Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
