Habitat for Humanity Training Facilitator Jobs in Kenya; The project seeks 2 trainers who will facilitate a 4-day community training in Climate Smart Agriculture in Commercial Production of Export crops and Food crops in Solio Settlement. The facilitators will prepare and share training materials with HFHK beforehand for review. They will develop and administer tools to assess the level of knowledge and understanding of Climate Smart Farming before the training and a post evaluation after the training. The facilitators will train the farmers in 4 days, different farmer field groups every day in Solio Settlement.



Qualifications and experience

The potential Consultant should have the following qualifications.

Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture, Agriculture Economics, Agronomy and Agroforestry, Natural Resource Management, General Agriculture and any other related field. A master's degree in Agronomy and Agroforestry, Agro-Economics and Agricultural Extension & Education or a related field can be an advantage.

*Experience working in ASAL areas

*At least 5 years of experience in the Agricultural field.

*Have excellent communication skills with ability to express ideas clearly, logically and effectively both orally and in writing

*Proven computer literacy skills in Ms Office.

*Qualitative research skills, including conducting KI interviews and focus groups.
