Overall ResponsibilityAs a Finacle Developer within our Systems Development and Integrations team, he/she will be at the forefront of enhancing our banking technology landscape.
The primary responsibility will be to develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the Finacle ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration, improved functionality, and optimized performance.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements for customizations and new applications within the Finacle environment.
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that align with business needs, utilizing a variety of technologies including Unix, Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, Java, JSP, and JS.
Design and implement system integrations between Finacle and other applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
Lead the development and maintenance of customizations within the Finacle framework to enhance its capabilities and meet specific business requirements.
Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and integration, providing timely support to address operational concerns.
Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing of software components, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in banking technology, Finacle updates, and software development to propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master's Degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on banking systems and Finacle customization.
Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQL for database development.
Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, Java, JSP, and JavaScript, with the ability to develop user-friendly web interfaces.
Prior experience in integrating and customizing Finacle, coupled with a solid understanding of core banking processes and workflows.
Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and in adherence to quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong drive to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies.
Professional certifications related to software development, Oracle, or banking systems will be a plus.
