Grants for NGOs and Organisations

I am a Medical Practioner who has interest in the elderly (aged) health care. I have a community based Organization trying to care for the aged. I need funds to run the organization as it is a non-profit making organization. Where can I get assistance? Does anybody know anywhere out there that funds for the aged can be found?
