Grameen Foundation USA Senior Technical Lead Jobs in Uganda


Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for financial inclusion activities, and ensure close coordination with other program components including agriculture, nutrition and gender by regularly interacting with the key personnel for the project. .
  • Manage all project activities under financial inclusion and serve as lead technical expert
  • Work on partner development with a range of stakeholders especially financial service providers

    Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, finance, international development, or other relevant technical field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience in financial inclusion, VSLAs, gender, microfinance, digital finance, emerging markets, private sector investment, development finance, local capital market development, investment facilitation and promotion, etc.;
  • Experience working in emerging markets required, experience in Uganda preferred;
  • Progressively responsible experience working on complex projects required. Experience with USAID - funded projects strongly preferred;
  • Superior interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with ability to work with a variety of counterparts;
  • Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and integrity;
