Job DescriptionIntroductionGood Neighbors Ethiopia (GNE) is an international humanitarian and non-governmental organization which is working on child sponsorship, community development in various sectors, and is one of the field countries of Good Neighbors International, Headquarter based in Seoul, South Korea.
GNE has been operating community development activities for 21 years in Ethiopia Since 1997; and registered as a Charity Organization with certificate number of 1135.
Since 1997 it has been working actively in the community development projects and currently has 5 local offices across Addis Ababa, Oromia and SNNP regions. It works in diversified fields to promote community development and well-being of children in the project target areas.
Objective of the AssignmentTo review and update the Human Resources Management Manual of GNE and develop improved manual in line with international best practices and consolidate all HR policies, procedures and practices in one document for easy of reference.
Job RequirementsQualifications, Experience required and minimum requirement for bidding The Consultant will have not less than 10 years’ of experience in Human Resource Management or Public Administration.
Educational and professional qualifications will include:
A Master’s degree in either HRM, Management, Organizational psychology, Business administration or any other relevant social sciences.
Demonstrated experience in developing HRM Manuals for International NGOs and Experience in the delivery of similar type of services (at least one Human Resource management manual to government or NGO for the last three Years;
Knowledge of strategic Human Resource Management and an understanding of organizational theory and
practice with regard to International NGOs;
Legal documents-such as registration certificate
