Currently, we work with pastoralist, agro-pastoral, pastoral dropouts, rural small holder farmers, rural/urban youth and street children to respond to humanitarian crises and build resilience in Ethiopia working closely with local communities, local government, donors and other key actors. GOAL E Humanitarian Response is centered on nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, multipurpose cash, NFIs and protection interventions in country wide while the recovery and development focus on livelihoods, economic opportunities, health, health and nutrition system strengthening and WASH with solid emphasis on integrated programming and community-based approach in Oromiya regional state. The Street Children programme is implemented with local partners in Addis Ababa and Hawassa.

About the Role

The Store Keeper is responsible for the receipt and distribution of property including the overall inventory of Fixed Assets and their recordings for Rural Development and Humanitarian Response Programme.

S/he maintains a daily stock balance for the replacement of items as well as the completion of correctly recorded store documents for auditing purposes.

About You

You'll be an experienced Storekeeper and you will be responsible for the incoming and outgoing stock to/from store and ensures that store requisition and issue vouchers are properly completed.

You will also be responsible to Maintains an accurate and timely record keeping in accordance with all finance and logistics formats and procedures.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Purchasing, Supplies Management or related field with a minimum of 2 years related experience preferably in NGO.

Familiar with donor guidelines; USAID/OFDA, ECHO, EHAF, etc.

Self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision.

Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences: (list of qualities that are considered desirable for the specific post):

Good command of English language

Remuneration & Benefits:

Salary: Birr 6,754.90 per month

Pension: (11% from employer and 7% from employee)

Transportation Allowance: 10% of monthly salary

Taxi fare, 300 birr/month.

Medical Allowance: Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
