Job Description

Receive and inspects all incoming materials to the store and reconciles with material requisition, purchase order, and supplier invoices;

Arranging the received materials in an orderly manner;

Responsible for Safety and Security of Stock items;

Responsible for good housekeeping or Preservation the materials and facilities from dust, rust, moisture heat and other things which may cause deterioration;

Ensure the optimum utilization storage spaces;

Segregating expired items and recommends for their disposal;

Review, plans and recommends efficient allocation of storage space;

Maintaining proper records(records should always be up dated) of the receipt and issue of materials in the respective documents;

Receiving and issuing materials as per the approved material requisition;

Preparing purchasing requisitions for those stock out items;

Supervise and control the duties of the staffs under his/her control (laborers, assistant store keeper etc.);

Ensuring the proper distribution of all document copies to the concerned body or departments(finance, stock control, receiving units etc.) and performs other tasks within the warehouse including following up the transferred out items and make sure their arrival to the receiving store;

Performs any other duties as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualification

Dip/BA in Management area

Work experience
5 years

Special skill / Training Required

Computer literate

Good Recording Skill
