Job DescriptionA. Job SummaryThe Liaison Officer is:
Accountable to the overall external communications and coordinate between the Business Group and another entity. In this role, the officer will act as the middle person between Gift business Group and the other entity to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible.
The liaison officer is in charge of working with different people, organizations or agencies to help them accomplish a common goal.
To do this, the officer must oversee communications, and coordinate efforts between these different entities as well as the general public.
B. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Maintain thorough knowledge of the Business Group, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact
Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the Business Group
Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise
Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities
Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity
Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about important issue for the Business Group
Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entity
Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
Act as a positive representation of the business to the stakeholders
Facilitate bank, renewal of Licenses and insurance, shipping, customs
clearing activities and other formalities necessary for importing goods
Facilitate water ,electricity, internet and telephone bills settling
Facilitate and clear construction design, land leasing and related activities in Governmental Organizations
Proactively identify and resolve potential construction related problems or issues of concern that may arise within the clients as a result of both delay and on-site construction activities
Work with Municipality and Sub- city to handle land holding, use and transfer of ownership to client(From Gift Real Estate to Client)
Work with lease office to secure land by lease
Facilitate relevant permits, licenses and approvals that may be required to run the business group
Performs other duties as deemed necessary
Job Requirements
A. Educational Requirement
MBA/BA Degree in Business Area and/or LLB in Law
B. Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience for Masters Degree or 6 years experience for 1st Degree, of which 3 years in the specified job position
Experience in construction sector is an advantage
