Job SummaryThe role of the Marketing and Sales Manager position is to plan, organize, direct and control the marketing and sales activities of the Company.
She/he identifies market opportunities for the company’s product and/or introduces new products which have good market potential in the identified areas.
He/she gathers sales data and competitors’ information, compiles and forwards information and periodic reports.
key Duties and Responsibilities
Develops strong relation with customers, identifies customer needs, and gather opinions that can be an input for planning;
Works in cooperation and links any technical requirements and/or customer needs (innovative designs, modifications of design works, etc.) with operation department;
Assist the Company in gathering data of organizations involved in similar business and make analysis on price and quality of products and services;
Measures company image and customer satisfaction on a continuous basis;
Conducts market research on other possible business interventions.
Conducts programs designed to create, maintain and disseminate favorable image news about the Company;
Actively participates in preparations of advertisement and promotional activities;
Promotes and advertises the activities of the organization through TV, Radio, newspapers, billboards, Calendars, Brochures, Internet (Web Site), etc.
Handles the preparation of sales documents, sales of products of the company;
Market and sell its
products or services profitably;
Develop and maintain a range of external contacts with organizations and individuals who can assist in the sales and marketing of GNM products;
Ensures that sales is recorded, compiled and analyzed for future planning;
Analyze the results of marketing campaigns and make whatever changes may be required to improve sales performance.
Keeps business secrets of the Company like prices, designs, documents, correspondence etc.
Keeps monitoring the market and provides market information to the General manager and Group Managing Director.
Prepares and submit periodic reports to the General manager and Group Managing Director.
Performs other related functions as required
Job Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and or business management.
Minimum of 10 years related experience in a similar or related position.
Excellent planning, organizing, analytical and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with computer operating systems and software applications
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Exemplary analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proven leadership skills
