Purpose of the JobResponsible for cost accounting activities related to the manufacturing operations by (I)analysing and reconciling inventory, bill of material maintenance, target costing, and productivity, (II) focusing on the continuous improvement of spending, balance sheet risk/opportunity, and product profitability in accordance with corporate policy and business objectives.

Comparing budgeted costs to actual cost.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze complex financial reports and records
Manage process for developing Stock – Keeping Unit (SKU) level cost targets and tracking actual costs versus standards including materials, production labour, packing labour and overhead costs.
Management of standard costing systems – including, but not limited to, maintenance of routings / work centres, bills of material, component allocations, and throughput settings
Management of master data process and subsequent new item setups, manufacturing specification integration, and sales / marketing interaction.
Leadership and execution of annual planning and standard cost setting process. This role will be responsible for
developing and publishing analysis related to budgets, scrap rates, labour deployment, and throughput.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly updates of company KPI are including explanations and countermeasures for areas of opportunity or risk. Analytical support of Heartland SQDCI (safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory) program.
Manage organization’s capital expenditure program (CAPEX) including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, project review, project payback, rate of return, and placing assets in service.
Ensure consistency and execution of organizations cycle count program. Continually develop inventory controls and processes.
Provide financial leadership for organization wide continuous improvement and cost save projects.
Provide ad-hoc financial and business analysis as necessary to support the supply chains team
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
MSC degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields with THREE (3) years of demonstrated experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields with FIVE (5) years of demonstrated experience.
