Purpose of the Job

  • To enhance the growth OF the GIG by (¡) providing comprehensive Human Resource and General service that support the achievement of business strategy and corporate objectives; (¡¡) providing HR and GS operation service to all level across the GIG including recruitment, training & development, benefit and HR administration, Health and First Aid Facilities, transportation fleet, property administration, facility administration, janitorial, security, landscaping and other related services.

  • Overall HR & GS operation.

  • Follow-up the overall implementation of GIG’s HR & GS Vision 2016.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee HR office services functions.

  • Maintain all HR policies and procedures and provide guidance and interpretation to staff.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Point person for all staff regarding HR operation matters.

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of new employees, including placing advertisements, developing contacts with recruiting sources, interviewing, consulting with internal hiring managers and managing orientation and on boarding process.

  • Consult with line management providing HR and Admin. manual when appropriate.

  • Maintain all personnel file, record and employee data.

  • Update and maintain HR operations manual.

  • Ensures effective facilities management and supervision of the concerned staff, focusing on achievement of the following results.

  • Assist Chief HR & Administration Ex. Officer in planning and organizing general services.

  • Plans and implements new processes to further improve the work procedures in the General Services.

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedule, and expedites work flow; studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

  • Resolves complex and sensitive customer service issues, either personally, by telephone or in writing.

  • Ensures
    the timely procurement of office supplies and consumables.

  • Company business processes mapping and assisting in the establishment of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) concerning general services.

  • Ensures efficient provision of administrative services including Safety in the workplace, protocol, IT, logistics, transport and travel management and supervision of concerned staff, focusing on achievement
    Efficient assets management and use of office assets by staff as well as the
    Performance of the requisite inventories.

  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy ORGANIZATION Management.

  • Maintain, supervise and provide excellent Health and First Aid Facilities, transportation fleet, property administration, facility administration, janitorial, security, landscaping and other related services.

    Generic Duties of the Position

  • Develop and implement the farm’s strategic and operational plans and objectives.

  • Develop and monitor the farm’s budget.

  • Identify human resources requirements of the farm and develop plan for meeting the requirements.

  • Lead the development, implementation and review of farm policies and procedures.

  • Review, approve and submit farm operational reports to relevant organs.

  • Support the development of farm subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.

  • Manage disciplinary concerns of the farm’s staff.

  • Represent the farm in external relationships.

  • Participate in group decision making processes by forming part of different groups/committees.

    Job Requirements

    Qualification and Experience

  • B.A Degree in Economics, Management, Business Administration, Law or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience out of which two (2) years at Senior Leadership level
    OR

  • Diploma in Economics, Management, Business Administration, Law or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years at Senior Leadership level
