General Accountant Jobs in Kenya

Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage dynamic individuals for General Accountant position for one of our clients.

We are looking for a General Accountant with at least 6+ years experience in all the facets of Accounting, including but not limited to A/C Payables, Receivables, Payroll Administration and Credit Administration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Commerce/Banking/Economics/Finance or any other business related field;

Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Supply Chain Management/Economics/Law or relevant field from a recognized University;

Full professional qualifications in Accounting (CPA-K/ACCA finalist;

Knowledge and experience utilising accounting software e.g. Sage/PASTEL, QuickBooks etc;

Strong commitment to the principles underpinning good governance and sound financial management;

Attention to details;

Timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Finance Manager;

High levels oral, written and negotiation skills;

Ability to write complex reports;

Demonstrates high levels of integrity and seeks continuous learning;

Ability to work long and strenuous hours;

Commercial and business awareness;

Analytical, planning and organizing skills;

Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
