Description

We are looking for a reliable Transport & Logistics Supervisor to be responsible for the supervision of our transport and logistics activities in the assigned project.

Transport & Logistics Supervisor responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the movement and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire transport & logistics activities so as to ensure timely deliveries of goods.

Responsibilities

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and internal customer services

Direct, optimize and coordinate transport & logistics activities

Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers

Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of services offered by the Transport & Logistics team

Arrange warehouse, plan routes, and track shipments

Resolve any arising problems or complaints in the scope of work

Supervise, coach, and train transport and logistics workforce

Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets

Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

Comply with laws, regulations, and relevant ISO requirements2003

Requirements

BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Proficient in standard logistics software

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Record of successful distribution and logistics management

Proven working experience as a Logistics Supervisor or Team Leader
