  • Our client is a leading exporter of fresh vegetables and fruits to the UK, Europe & Middle East markets.

  • They are currently seeking to hire an individual with a marketing flair as well as great sales experience to take on marketing activities as well as manage client relationships.

  • Reporting to the Managing Director you will be part of the marketing team.

    Job Purpose

  • As a passionate marketing executive, you will develop marketing strategies that will enhance company brand and grow client portfolio as well as ensure long-term success of the customers.

  • You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, working with key business executives, decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • You will liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.

    Responsibilities

  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies

  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media), exhibitions and promotional events

  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures

  • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication

  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)

  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance

  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

  • Sourcing for orders from clients and Preparation of pricing for the Clients.

  • Receiving and processing Orders from Clients and conveying to the pack-house.

  • Overseeing daily processing of confirmed orders and Ensuring that all clients’ needs are
    met according to laid down standards.

  • Ensuring that all invoices for all clients are prepared accurately and sent to both clients and clearing agents in good time for documentation and clearance of goods at points of entry with special attention to pricing.

    Qualifications

  • Marketing knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at executive level.

  • Experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

  • Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a customer receives exceptional customer service.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of the principles of marketing, identification of features-benefits and product offer development.
