G4S South Africa, a leading provider of integrated cash management and security solutions, has a vacancy for a Talent and Resourcing Manager, based at our operations in Centurion.
Reporting to the Head of Talent and Resourcing the main purpose of this role is to source competent, skilled and managerial talent in line with respective workforce plans; facilitate talent management and succession planning as per the company’s talent and resourcing strategy, policy, procedure and tools; build talent capacity (internal and external) to meet current and future capability requirements.
The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organization, and understanding the role which resourcing plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results-driven and to live the values of the organization.
Role Responsibility:
Participate and provide input into Talent and Resourcing strategy, policy and procedure development
Attends periodical meetings to discuss, develop, review and update the Talent and Resourcing strategy, policy and procedure
Ensures that all Talent and Resourcing initiatives are aligned to the strategy, policy and procedure and adhered to
Conducts end to end recruitment for all E1+ roles as well as Head Office Support functions
Ensures that efficient and cost-effective methodologies are used for sourcing employees
Liaises and consults with line management with regards to resourcing needs and ideal candidate profiles
Works within agreed recruitment time frames with stakeholder support
Ensure signed authorization paperwork has been completed
Formulates and distributes advertisements through effective channels, specifically the Careers Centre and external resourcing platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
Screens candidates in line with job description and resourcing processes
Facilitate and manage the interview process
Facilitates vetting process, employment offers for successful candidates
Review and manage the PSP
Review, analyze and discuss exit interview with relevant stakeholders
Manage the onboarding process for new starters in conjunction with the Learning and Development Team
Reporting
Input, implementation and management of the Talent and Resourcing Strategy
Liaises with management regarding current employee compliment and immediate, mid and long-term succession plans
Creates and develop an active talent pipeline with key stakeholder input to minimize the time to hire across all regions
Utilizing the Company’s systems and processes, manages the Company’s Talent management and Succession planning initiatives across the respective business units, in conjunction with Heads of Operations and Regional Human Resources Managers
Ensure Hiring Manager and other stakeholder capabilities with regards to Talent and Resourcing
Train and coach line managers regarding Talent and Resourcing policy, procedure and processes
Ensures that recruiting managers’ interviewing skills are developed
Ensures that company interactions with candidates enhance the group’s reputation and brand
Continuous review of talent and resourcing systems/tools across all levels of employee and periodic audit
of such to ensure compliance
Develops, sources and shares best practice to all involved in the Talent and Resourcing processes
Manage the utilization of the Careers Centre
Talent management and succession planning
Creates and develops an active talent pipeline (internal and external) for critical positions with key stakeholder input to minimize the time to hire across the business
Liaises with management regarding current employee compliment and immediate, mid and long-term succession plans
Identifies and Implements various external techniques recruitment search processes
Utilizing the Company’s systems and processes, manage the Company’s Talent management and Succession planning initiatives across the business (in conjunction with Regional HR Managers and Heads of Departments)

Ensures that the G4S South Africa brand and EVP are promoted effectively through all media channels used for resourcing.
Participates in Career Expo where necessary
Effective management of employees
Implements the company’s performance management system (i.e setting key performance areas and developing Personal Development Plans where necessary)
Ensure that all employees are trained on the minimum standard operating procedures
Monitor, manage and address performance levels
Apply consistent and fair disciplinary action in line with company policies and procedures
Conducts regular team meetings to review progress and action plans
Ensures vetting compliance and adherence to HR Core Standards Ensures processes/procedures are updated accordingly and in line with business requirements
Health and Safety
Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year.
Participate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
Discuss all safety incidents
Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
Attend safety education and refresher programs
Comply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
Distribute safety information as and when required
Wear protective clothing all the time
The Ideal Candidate:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management/Industrial or Organization Psychology recommended
Minimum of 5-year senior recruitment and talent management/succession planning experience in a large organization, preferably in a services industry
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and or exceeding performance objectives
Experience in managing recruitment processes (all levels) in a matrix organization
Experience in managing teams, geographically dispersed
Working experience and knowledge in talent resourcing and talent management (incl Systems)
Demonstrated track record in building talent pipelines
Sound knowledge of Vetting and Screening processes
Broader general human resources experience recommended
Development of policies and procedures
Advanced proficiency in digital platforms and other HR systems
Ability to draw informative reports to inform stakeholders
