Job Introduction:

G4S Cash Solutions has a vacancy for a Process Analyst based in Centurion,reporting to the National Business Enablement Manager. The Process Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timeous administration/completion of the business process analysis in line with company policies and procedures.

The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which support plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

Main purpose of the position:

Support the business by mapping operational processes for the execution of transactions or activities and recommend areas for improvement in processes to reduce risk and operational failures, improve productivity, create capacity, improve process reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Performance Areas:

Accountability: Business process design or improvement

  • Outputs to deliver this accountability:

  • Interacting with product and process owners, conduct business process needs analysis to understand the requirements, inputs, handoffs and outputs of the process.

  • Map the processes using the the approved mapping standards.

  • Review process maps to ensure that all regulatory, compliance, and operational risk control elements are incorporated and highlighted.

  • Obtain approval from business process owners on the final products before publishing

  • Participate in the pilot (if applicable) and highlight any issues or concerns. Ensure updates are made prior to live implementation.

  • Assess the risk and potential impact of any process changes requested from a systems, control and operational risk perspective. Highlight the risks to the process owners. Identify where systems designs need to be altered in order to integrate the business solution and highlight to the process owners.

  • Monitor implementation of new processes to ensure that anticipated benefits are realised.
    Support the business by advising on the most appropriate operational processes to support the product's implementation. Interact with the impacted operations processing area to obtain their input and approval for the final process.

  • On at least an annual basis, critically review all processes in place in the business area and identify areas for
    potential improvement. Ensure that updated processes are published and old ones removed.

  • Support process owners to design change impact assessment tools and change project plans.

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the content of the procedures and processes

  • With content input from business process owners,compile communiques to ensure effective communication of process or procedure changes.

  • Provide guidance in terms of process standards, tools and methodology to external vendors

  • Check training manuals and quick reference guides developed by the business process owners against the related processes and procedures to ensure consistency of the message.

  • Develop and maintain all processes, and procedural documentation according to the standards in support of the business unit's service offering.

  • Identify gaps in the documentation available for each part of the business area's service offering and create action plans with the business process owners to address the gaps.

  • If process changes required by the business have systems impact, analyse the requirements and impact draft a change request and obtain input and sign-off from all stakeholders

  • Participate in systems testing to ensure that the required changes have been affected as agreed.
