• Strong leadership skills to lead and drive the team to deliver set objectives and targets.

• The ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.

Responsibilities

Business Development

• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.

• Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors.

• Develop business sales and marketing strategy.

• Increase sales and revenue of the business.

• Understand the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs.

• Generate leads and prospective customers and create a sale pipeline.

• Have a good understanding of the businesses' products and services to convince new customers.

• Meet with customers/clients face to face or over
the phone.

• Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.

• Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.

• Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.

Service Delivery

• Maintain quality service when representing and enforcing organization standards.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, seminars as required by company.

• Representing the company at exhibitions, events, etc.

• Respond to client queries in a timely manner.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or in any other related field

Details of experience

• 5 years of experience in sales in a Consultancy firm or related field is preferred.

• Exposure working in sales with NGO’s, Financial Institutions, Oil and Gas is an added advantage.
