FSD Kenya Director Jobs
FSD Kenya, is seeking to appoint a Director to lead the organisation.
Established in early 2005, FSD Kenya supports the development of inclusive financial markets in Kenya.
FSD understands financial inclusion as being about harnessing the power of markets to improve people’s lives.
It operates as an independent trust under the supervision of professional trustees, KPMG Kenya, with policy guidance from a Programme Investment Committee (PIC).
Current funders include the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Exceptional gains have been made in expanding access to finance over the last decade in Kenya.
Headline indicators show that today, over three quarters of the population have access to the formal financial system, compared with under a quarter in 2006.
But this is yet translate into major impacts on the livelihoods of the poor. Building on the strong foundations laid, FSD Kenya is today focused on how to create real value for low-income people through better financial solutions.
We are seeking a new Director to lead our work at the cutting-edge of building inclusive finance.
