Fracht Group Shipping Executive Jobs in Kenya; The Shipping Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing shipping line operations for both import and export shipments. This includes ensuring timely coordination of shipping activities, maintaining relationships with shipping lines, and supporting the Head of Section to ensure seamless operations

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day shipping line operations efficiently.

Ensure timely processing of Delivery Orders within 48 hours as per KPIs.

Monitor and coordinate shipment arrivals at the Mombasa port. Oversee accurate documentation, including Bills of Lading, manifests, and customs declarations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and ensure compliance.

Generate and update DO status reports using TRAKIT.

Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and resolve disputes.

Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and transportation teams for smooth operations.

Supervise and mentor junior staff in the shipping operations team.

Prepare regular reports on shipping activities and performance metrics.

Undertake any other duties as assigned.


Education:

Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certification:

KESRA or ICS(Institute of chartered shipbrokers will be an added advantage.
