Fracht Group Declaration Executive Jobs in Kenya; The Declaration Executive will be responsible for processing IDF and customs entries, advising internal and external clients on customs, KEBS, and related procedures, addressing HS code issues and KRA queries, following up on bonds, and assisting in operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process IDF requests and customs entries with accuracy and within set timelines.

Ensure compliance with customs, KEBS, and government agency regulations.

Verify and advise on HS codes, harmonized tariffs, and EAC Common External Tariffs.

Address and resolve queries from KRA, clients, and internal teams efficiently.

Follow up on bond applications, cancellations, and entry perfection to avoid penalties.

Monitor duty/tax payments and ensure timely settlement.

Liaise with border control personnel on transit and bond handling.

Am. Maintain accurate documentation for each shipment to ensure smooth processing.

Foster a collaborative team environment for efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding, KRATI/KESRA training, or relevant professional courses.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the clearing and forwarding industry.

Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms,

government agency requirements, and customs systems.

Computer Proficiency: Ability to work with customs systems and office applications.

Key Competencies

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. Customer-focused with a proactive approach to service delivery.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
