Role Overview

Founders Factory Africa is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual who can project manage the production of pillar podcasts, long-form writing and events and traffic the timely roll-out of engaging and relevant content across its multiple digital platforms, including social media and website, in line with their community and communications digital strategy. The role is a full-time position, and will be reporting to the Head of Community & Comms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing content collateral and overseeing the entire creation process from beginning to end. They’ll also provide and coordinate production schedules for Managing Editor, Channel Managers & Freelance creative service providers to ensure the pre-production, production and post-production processes run smoothly to create an impressive final product.

Key Responsibilities:

Fully scope media production requirements and develop project and resource plans

Act as a liaison between team members and departments to support sales enablement objectives with key content pillars and workflows

Act as a liaison between team members and departments to manage schedules

Organising workflow to meet specifications and deadlines

Manage complex digital multimedia workflows, schedules, and budgets

Identify and implement processes improvements to increase efficiency and quality

Recommend, integrate, and document tools and processes to improve production workflow and efficiency

Manage administrative processes and track deliverables

with contractors and vendors, i.e. a creative team of producers, editors and designers

Monitor and track media properties, digital ad campaigns and performance

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Preferred Qualification Degree or Diploma in relevant field and/or at least 5 years relevant experience in digital content creation

Highly organised and detailed oriented

Great interpersonal skills

Podcast production planning and publishing experience

Exposure to Product Management or a digital environment in the media

Communication skills for coordinating between different departments and personnel

Creativity to ensure innovative productions

Video and audio production experience will be advantageous

Leadership to coordinate team efforts Ability to deliver on brief and troubleshoot in the moment

Time management to ensure products meet deadlines

Budgeting so each production falls under cost limits

Reporting through analytics and actionable insights
