Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience required

Demonstrated experience in design and conducting field research for public policy purposes

High level of knowledge of gender equality issues and dynamics in Ethiopia

Knowledge of women and girls’ land inheritance issues in Ethiopia a major asset.

Knowledge and understanding on Ethiopian constitution

Relevant professional or post-graduate qualifications in law gender, governance, human rights (PhD preferred but not required)
Sound knowledge and applications of feminist research principles.

Technical Proposal must include:
Profile of the consultants’ firm.

Outline options and recommended best methodologies applicable to successful completion of the assignment’s objectives.

Curriculum vitae for the persons proposed for the assignment, their respective roles, list of similar assignments.

The Financial Proposal daily rates and number of days in line with tasks outlined in Section 6 above and proposed payment schedule.
