Background

  • FHK is currently in the process of piloting and deriving lessons on Food for the Hungry’s (FH’s) new program model. The intent statement of the new program model is: We build resilience that enables children, families, and communities to flourish.

    Qualifications

  • Over 10 years’ experience in utilizing participatory methodologies in design and development of programs and particular experience with using the HCD model.

  • A master’s or PhD Level of education preferably in Development studies/Social sciences or Economics.

  • Experience in skills building using participatory approaches for development workers including experience in skills building on HCD.

  • Good understanding of development issues and in particular relating to the ASAL areas.
