FNB Financial Resources Analyst II Johannesburg, Gauteng, Jobs in South Africa

Purpose

To design, establish and monitor credit, capital, liquidity and return frameworks, balance sheet management, optimisation around scarce resources and constraints, and creating and managing off-balance sheet platforms for segment .

Experience and Qualifications

(SA) or equivalent or B.Sc Actuarial/Statistics/Financial Maths/CFA or Engineering graduate with a MBA/ Economics Hons

5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar environment

Working knowledge of financial services and financial markets

Working knowledge of bank role in economy

Working knowledge of bank functionality and earnings drivers

Detailed understanding of regulatory requirements, specifically BASEL III

Knowledge of risk and credit frameworks and understanding of technical aspects of credit models

Knowledge of Stress Testing of Balance Sheet and Income Statement

Knowledge of capital construct

Accounting and tax skills and knowledge

Financial modelling skills (capital and portfolio modelling)

Proficient in SAS, SQL, Microsoft Office, with Excel modelling skills
