FMCG Company Senior HR Officer Job in Thika, Kenya


Our client in FMCG is looking for a qualified, highly dedicated and motivated Senior HR Officer to join their team.

Location:

  • Thika

    Responsibilities

  • Implement HR Plans, Policies & procedures according to organizational objectives.
  • Review, amend and draft job description and qualifications required for the staffs.
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
  • Ensure that policies comply with labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Formulate effective performance appraisal policy procedures and ensure its compliance
  • Develop the recruitment and selection process to include: appointment, confirmation, termination, resignation procedures and process.
  • Handle workplace occupational health & safety
  • Supervise employee welfare activities within the framework of human resources objectives, policies and regulation
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Preparing staff handbooks and declarations.
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.

    Qualifications

  • Degree, Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • At least 5-7 years of working experience in a similar capacity
  • IHRM Member

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Must demonstrate a deep understanding of the laws and legislations governing the Kenya labor market
