Background

Florensis Ethiopia PLC is a multinational garden plant cuttings producing and exporting company that manages around 700 workers throughout the year and hundreds of additional seasonal workers in high production season. The company is situated at Oromia Region, Eastern Shoa Zone: Lume Wereda Koka Kebele.

The Company would like to invite the competent and qualified applicant for the position of Tractor Driver

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for transporting goods, wastes and any materials that has not allowed carrying by human labor from one place to another using tractor-trailer, Front loader or forklift in the farm of Florensis Ethiopia PLC.

Cutting grass by the grass cutting machine on the complete compound, including living compound.

Load and unload green waste boxes from green houses to composting site.

Load and unload different types of solid wastes from compounds to solid waste disposal site.

Load and unload any other goods and materials (Red ash, hollow blocks, removed green wastes, construction materials, and others from different departments to the allocated place in the farm.

Place empty carts or wooden boxes and pallets in trailers so they will be available to facilitate placement and movement of goods, solid wastes, green wastes and any other materials.

Fill up

on fuel, clean and check on oil level.

Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion (blockage).

Follow all applicable traffic laws and limited speed in the compound that is 20km/Hr.

Do any other jobs as instructed by immediate supervisor.

Terms of Employment:

Contract with possible renewal

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours, and Experience Required:

Educational Background

12 Grade complete, Tractors and agricultural machineries driving licence with at least four year relevant work experience.

Skills Specific to the Post

Proper care for the tractor.

Strong Attention safety rules and hygine.

Good interpersonal skills.

Able to work with minimum supervision.
Proactivity
