Flexo Printing Machine Operator Jobs in Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary:

Our client deals with printing and selling of Self-Adhesive Labels with a wide target market across the country.

They are looking to hire an experienced professional machine operator.

The ideal candidate must have hands on experience working with Flexo Printing Machine or any other Self-Adhesive labels printing machine.

Duties and Responsibilities

Set up machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order

Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures

Blend and test paint, inks, stains, and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.

Correct misprinted materials, using materials such as ink eradicators or solvents

Feed information akin to speed, shapes, and sizes through the device set up box

Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences.

Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running

Troubleshoot problems during machine operations

Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.

Input instructions in order to program automated machinery, using a computer keyboard

Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out

Perform random tests

to ensure accuracy

Perform safety checks on every machine

Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output

Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times

Create and maintain activity logs

Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors

Key Requirements and Skills

At least 3 years’ experience as a Flexo Machine Operator

Professional qualifications in Engineering is Key

Must have experience operating and maintaining a Self- Adhesive Labels Printing machine

Ability to read and understand technical manuals

Ability to work independently

Ability to multitask and complete tasks

Good communication skills

Have good knowledge of mechanical devices
