This senior role offers an exciting opportunity to the successful candidate who will be responsible for the Credit Origination function within FNB Mozambique.
The future career prospects, following from this role, can include consideration for the Head of Credit role in Mozambique, as well as other senior credit roles within FirstRand’s Rest of Africa business across the continent. Candidates from all countries will be considered for this role.
The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspect of credit origination including the setting of credit risk appetite, credit risk frameworks and ensuring that the required credit origination skills and capacity are developed and maintained.
This scope will span all FNB Mozambique business segments including Corporate, Commercial and Retail.
The overriding objective is to grow FNB Mozambique’s In-country and Cross Border lending books within the agreed credit risk frameworks and credit risk appetite.
This will require providing effective leadership and support to the credit origination team in Mozambique.
The incumbent will also represent Credit in various risk and management committees.
Experience and qualifications
Relevant Finance Degree
BComm Accounting or Finance, Qualified Accountants.
additional relevant qualifications will be beneficial: CFA, Honours, Masters, MBA Technical
Knowledge/ Skills and Experience Experience
5 years or more Relevant Experience in a Senior
