Job Description: Test and repair faulty power tools (refer to manuals to resolve difficult problems)
Check warranty dates to verify it’s within the warranted period
Give regular feedback to customers
Attend to customer queries and ensure customers are satisfied with your service before finalizing the case
Submit weekly/monthly reports to management
Submit warrantee claims timeously
Complete documentation and other administrative tasks as prescribed in the applicable policy
Take regular stock and book out parts that are required for repair work
Keep work areas neat and tidy
Education:
Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
Knowledge of K8 (an advantage)
Basic computer skills
Competencies:
Strong electronic and technical knowledge of power tools and accessories
Proven ability to test products and troubleshoot faults
Strong focus on quality control and customer care
Understanding warrantees
Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills (internally and externally with customers)
Ability to affectively plan and prioritize daily duties
Report writing and stock taking experience
Valid driver’s license
Microsoft Office knowledge
