First Consult Plc Terms of Reference (ToR) Advisor for SME Lending E-Learning Platform Project Jobs in Ethiopia
ObjectiveThe objective of the assignment is to ensure the quality of SME lending e-learning platform project deliverables against the set targets and best practices. The e-learning platform is aiming to transfer skills and knowledge, best practices on SME lending to a large number of MFIs/Banks staff on a sustainable basis.
Specific Tasks
Advice and support SME team in the project management works.
Review and provide feedbacks to the prototypes and inception reports produced by the consultant against best practices and project objectives; as well as the inception reports.
Oversee the overall activities, technologies features/software and processes in which the consultants are adopting to deliver the anticipated outputs and recommend corrective measures (if any).
Review and provide feedback on the e-learning platform demo produced by the consultant against best practices, standards and project objectives/milestones.
Follow up with the consultants to fully incorporate the feedbacks/comments provided so as to ensure quality of the final outputs,
Advice in hosting/migrating of digital contents into the approved e-learning portal
Review and provide feedback on the e-learning platform once the digital content/toolkits are migrated
Test the e-learning portal deployment and applications against best practices and project objectives, and forward feedbacks for further improvement (if any)
Ensure the e-learning platform is up to standard and that
it suits the intended purpose.
These requirements are flexible and there may be changes over time.
Working Agreements
The advisor will closely work with the consultants/subject matter experts and EP team.
Intellectual Property Right will strictly be controlled under regular state law for IPR protection.
The advisor may need to sign separate non-discloser agreement with EP considering data/information sensitivity if needed.
Job Requirements
Consultants Requirements
The advisor should have the following experience:
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in IT & software development. Highly specialized in e-learning platform development and web programming languages.
Have a broad knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools in the field, and new software and other and programs including use of HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Macromedia Flash, Java;
Demonstrate the ability to create innovative, visually appealing design and multimedia development for website;
Demonstrated experience in website development using WordPress, Angular, Drupal or similar open source software;
Knowledge of relevant software development life cycle in general and particularly e-learning system and content development
Competencies required include:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Excellent working guides and tools developing skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
