First Consult is a consulting firm in Ethiopia specializing in delivering effective and business-oriented solutions for development, business, strategy, human resources, finance and investment problems and needs of its clients.

In addition to Business Development Services, transaction advisory, development consulting and investment services, First Consult offers training and capacity building to organisations and individuals on various professional skill areas.

First Consult is currently seeking to hire the following personnel:

The Compliance/Finance officer will be responsible to manage partnership contracts and agreements and ensure that the company activities are in conformity with governing policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Review all agreement and contracts that the company eneters in to.

Assist in preparation of budgetary planning and managing records and receipts

Manage the company treasury activities

Preparing financial reports and assisting monitoring of financial performance of projects

Regularly assess the risk exposure of the company and come-up with mitigating measure

Assist on internal and external audit preparations

Review and maintain internal compliance and risk management policies

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

BA degree in Finance/Accounting

Minimum 5+ years work experience in financial management and compliance

Experience working on financial and accounting systems, compliance reviews, financial reporting and audit

Be proactive and able to work under pressure in a team setting

Be a self driven person that can work with tight deadline schedule
