Responsibilities
Continuously review, implement and administer the organization's Credit strategies, policies and procedures
Create, implement and administer sound reporting systems, portfolio management, approval and documentation systems
Provide technical support to new product development and ensure risks are mitigated. Ensure that all credit requests and approval procedures and processes comply with the bank's policies and procedures
Ensure adherence to CBK guidelines and monitor exposures to the various sectors. Train Credit analysts and relationship officers/managers, Branch Managers to enhance their skills and knowledge in Credit appraisals Prepare periodical stress tests on the credit book for the Board to examine quantitative impact on bottom line and capital levels based on different scenarios.
Detect shifts or changes in key risk parameters in a business relationship or in the industry/sector and evaluate the implications of such changes on continued dealings.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a bias in Finance;
Master's degree in an appropriate discipline e.g. MSc Finance or MBA Finance Professional qualifications in ACCA/CPA/CFA;
Proven experience of at least ten years in a reputable bank in credit environment, 5 of which must be at senior level
Knowledge of International Accounting and Reporting Best Practices;
Knowledge of Prudential guidelines and CBK reporting requirements;
Must be adept in use of MS Office packages and well versed with banking systems.

Responsibilities
Ensure that an acceptable level of remedial support is provided to all business units in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs].
Timely settlements of past due facilities to minimize provisioning
Timely restructuring of client's facilities Timely retrieval of credit files from the record room and other documents that may be required from time to time.
Timely resolving of all customer queries that arise on accounts that have been placed under the remedial actions.
Recoveries / Debt Collection in relation to Non Performing Facilities and Un-formalized overdrafts
Maximum Control of Provisions for delinquent accounts
Handling transactions related to the excess reports (ENC's & other accommodations) as per the approval from Management Credit Committee. Preparation of Statutory /management bank reports in accordance to the CBK prudential guidelines and management guidelines.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a bias in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree an added advantage.
Professional qualifications in ACCA/CPA/CFA;
Proven experience of at least three years in a reputable bank at Management Level handling Recoveries Unit
Knowledge of Accounting and Reporting Best Practices:

Responsibilities
Ensuring that the financing proposals are complete, correct and consistent with Bank's established policies/procedures and are within the sharia guidelines and CBK prudential guidelines;
Preparation of required statutory reports (CBK & CRB) and other reports as may be required by the bank's management; Instituting and overseeing the timely disbursement of facilities while ensuring adequate controls;
Analyzing current financing data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending financing;
Conducting competitor analysis and research to ensure continued market competitiveness and relevance of the bank.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's
Degree in Business, Accounts related, Administration or related field. Master's degree an added advantage. Diploma in Banking and/or Professional Banking/CPA (K) qualifications a plus.
Have a minimum of Five (5) years relevant work experience, 3 of which should be at manager level with proven result oriented track record.
Have strong customer service orientation/experience.

Responsibilities
Managing the market risk aspect for the Available for Sale and Trading investments of the Treasury bond portfolio under direction of the Bank's ALCO;
Managing cash between the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) account and the Banks position - real time managing of the CBK clearing and settlement accounts, managing the intra-day liquidity facility and Domestic Foreign currency clearing accounts;
Executing Funding activities i.e. borrowing and lending, with approved Banks to ensure that that the Bank's accounts in Kenya and overseas are adequately funded. These are currently over 50 accounts of which 15 are extremely active and require constant monitoring with 5 of these requiring real time monitoring;
Trading fixed income in the local primary and secondary market for treasury bonds. This includes planning investments according to ALCO directives and managing the Bank's maturity ladder as per policy;
Trading in Dual currency deposits for proprietary positions for yielding step up thus increasing earnings on foreign currency placements.
Qualifications
Masters of Business Administration degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
ACI Dealing Certificate or its equivalent; Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK).
At least 5 years relevant experience. Ability to write complex letters, comprehensive reports and to perform complex calculations

Board Matters: o Formulation & implementation of Operations Strategic Plan o Board & Management Committees
Provide leadership in overall banking operations strategies for the Bank

Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, or finance related field. Master's degree an added advantage.
Training on Card Management, professional Banking operations training e.g. AKIB, ACIB Have a minimum of Eight (8) years relevant work experience in a similar position with proven result oriented track record in preparation of management accounting reports, maintaining accurate accounting records and effective control of budgets.
Experience in banking industry or a financial institution.
A go-getter. enthusiastic. results oriented with excellent communication and social skills.
Sound knowledge of the Bank's products and services; CBK Prudential Guidelines. Understand the Banking Act, Central Bank Regulations, prudential guidelines Understand and implement operations processes; understand and implement strict KYC procedures.
